Lane JohnsonLane Johnson (b. 1958) received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition in 1982 and a Secondary Teaching Certificate, with an emphasis in Choral Music, from Brigham Young University in 1986. He has taught choral music at both the Junior High and High School level and has conducted various church choirs as well. Lane's compositions have been performed all over the United States, including recent performances at National and Regional ACDA conventions. He has also completed commissioned works for Brigham Young University and recently for Northern Arizona University.
In addition to his work as a freelance composer and arranger, he works full-time as a Director of Software Engineering for a large software company. He is married to Marcia Skousen Johnson and lives near Salt Lake City, Utah.
